Barrel Beadmaking Tool and Mold... This wonderful tool was designed by my Dad, a master machinist, and myself. My Dad makes these himself, they are not mass-produced. They have all been tested. The mold is made up of solid brass. The handles are wood for easy folding. There is a hinge on the back that allows you to open it flat or fold closed. The mold makes beads in 15mm and 20mm barrel shapes, and a 10mm round. Use the tool open and roll your bead in the slots, or close it and use it like a stamping mold to press into shape. The tool has groves for your mandrels so you can use 1/16 or 3/32 mandrels in this tool. The pictures show several beads that I made with the tool to give you an idea of what they end up like.
