Tab Lampwork Tool and Mold... This wonderful tool was designed by Dad, a master machinist, and myself. My Dad makes these himself, they are not mass-produced. The mold is made up of solid brass. The handles are wood for easy folding. There is a hinge on the back that allows you to open it flat or fold closed. There are guides on the side to automatically line up the top and bottom of mold, no guess work. The mold makes beads in 18mm and 20mm tabs by 8mm thick. Use the tool open and squish your bead in the slots (such as for making buttons), or close it and use it like a stamping mold to press into shape. The tool has groves for your mandrels so you can use 1/16 or 3/32 mandrels in this tool. The pictures show several beads that I made with the tool to give you an idea of what they end up like.
